The method & the book

Steer the session.

● turns✕ signal↩ retake▪ close

A conversation with a model is not a stack of prompts — it is a trajectory: it opens, it drifts, it gets retaken, it closes. Session Engineering is the operator's discipline for that whole line. This site is its home: the method in reference form, the complete opening protocol, and one full chapter of the book, free.

Time 1

Open

A session is largely decided in its first minutes. The first message is not a question — it is a frame: subject, purpose, expectations, refused pitfalls, your own positioning. And before anything: is this a consultation one answer can close, or a session that will need returns? Only the second deserves the machinery.

Time 2

Steer

Steering is made of repeated micro-decisions, guided by seven signals — from hypnotic fluency to defensive vigilance — and answered by one central move: the retake. Read the model's displayed reasoning, always; believe it, never. The reference page →

Time 3

Close

Most sessions don't end — they go out, and everything goes with them. Closing is a test ("what would I keep?") and a move: export what matters to a document you control, the same day.

No testimonials in the window: publication is 2026, and praise would be manufactured. The proof displayed is verifiable instead — a dated public field, real session excerpts on the method page, and a bench you execute yourself.
